Fresh Fiesta:Pure and Natural Food

The entire food is based on the local products made from crushed corn flour. The corn is a pure natural product from the remote villages of Nepal. We have tried to bring the local ingredients to its finest and at it best. Bon Appetite

Goodness of Corn

Starter
Corn Poached Egg Soup
4 tablespoons corn flour (not the one used in Chinese)
2 tablespoons oil
2 onions, finely chopped
One whole egg
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon light soya sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste

Method
First heat the wok, or sauce pan, then add oil
Once heated, add garlic and onion
When softened, add corn flour and stir well for 3 minutes
Make sure fire is on slow mode
Add other ingredients and top with water
Once it is almost ready, break one egg and let it simmer
Let it poach
Check salt and pepper to taste

Corn Flour Vegetable Wrap

2 cups corn flour
1 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 eggs
2 cups cabbage
2 finely chopped carrots
2 tablespoons light soya sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cumin
Salt and pepper, to taste


Method

First of all, make a batter
Then heat the non sticky pan and add butter
Make a soft and fine pancake
Once bubbles form on one side, turn on the other side
Heat till golden brown
Keep then pancakes aside
For the filling
Heat the oil and saut? cabbage and carrot
Add all the other ingredients
And once it is ready, stuff it and roll to make a wrap


Corn Glazed Pancake

2 cups orange juice
4 spoons icing sugar
Few seasonal fruits, chopped
Readymade chocolate sauce

Method
Heat the pan
Add the butter
Top up with orange juice
Make the same pancake as above
Then fold it into triangle
Drop into the pan and let it glaze
Put in the plate
Top with icing sugar and cut fruits
Garnish with chocolate sauce
